Blending the 2019 Waluke Slope Cabernet Sauvignon with the 2019 Horse Heaven Hills Syrah yields a richly layered red wine, where the cabernet’s firm structure and blackcurrant flavors meet Syrah’s signature peppery spice. On the nose, aromas of blackberry, graphite, and violet mingle with hints of smoked meat and dried herbs. The palate delivers concentrated dark plum and cassis flavors framed by fine-grained tannins and bright acidity, the new oak aging adds cedar, vanilla, and baking spice. It finishes long and savory. Absolutely delicious and ideal alongside grilled ribeye, braised lamb shanks, or hearty mushroom ragù.
